A payslip is issued to an Office in the following cases: -

  • On first appointment to a Gazetted Post (Direct appointment) to a permanent post.
  • On promotion of a Gazetted Officer
  • On promotion of an Officer from Level-10 to Level-11
  • Appointment to a new post (permanent/temporary)
  • Transfer to Foreign Service/Deputation to Government of India 
  • Charge Allowances for holding additional post 
  • On deputation to Government of Jharkhand by officers of Central Government/PSUs
  • Leave salary payslips

As a general rule permanent payslip is issued except in the following cases:-

  • The post is temporary.
  • The appointment is for specific period.
  • The drawal of increment is subject to completion of probation, passing of departmental examination or other tests or other conditions imposed by the Government.
  • The officer is going to be superannuated shortly.
  • Provisional payslip has to be issued for a specified period for want of certain document.
