Shri K S Gopinath Narayan is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1996 batch. He did his B. Tech from IIT, Kanpur and M.Sc in IT from SMU. He has held various professional certifications like Certified Information Auditor (CIA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He assumed charge as Accountant General (Audit), Assam, in the afternoon of 12.07.2019. Prior to joining as Accountant General (Audit), Assam, he has held various assignments in India and abroad, including in the Office of the C&AG of India. Immediately before assumption of charge as the Accountant General (Audit), Assam, he served as Professor in the National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad where he taught Audit, Statistics, and Data Analytics.
