Sri Ranendu Sarkar, IA & AS (2009 batch) assumed charge as Senior Deputy Accountant General (Administration and AMG-I) in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit-I), West Bengal on 18.08.2022(F/N). He has completed his honour’s degree in Accountancy from Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, Kolkata. He has vast work experiences in the field of Commercial Audit and Civil Audit. Before joining this department, he has completed three years articleship for appearing in Chartered Accountant Exam under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Prior to joining this office he held the charge of Sr. Deputy Accountant General (Works Accounts) in the office of the Pr. AG (A&E), Odisha at Branch office Puri from 2018-2022. He has completed various foreign assignments like "Compliance & Financial Audit of WHO Country Office" and "Compliance & Financial Audit of WHO Western Pacific Regional Office".
