Shri Subbaiah joined the Indian Audit Accounts Department as an Auditor on 28.11.1990 in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Karnataka, Bangalore and later was promoted as Senior Auditor on 28.01.1994. After passing the Section Officer Grade Examination, he was promoted as Section Officer on 08.06.2000. He was later promoted as Assistant Audit Officer on 01.01.2004, as Audit Officer on 04.11.2009 and as Senior Audit Officer on 02.01.2012. Shri Subbaiah was inducted into the Indian Audit and Accounts Service on 24.12.2018 and was posted as Deputy Accountant General in the Office of the Accountant General (Audit), Nagaland, Kohima w.e.f 04.02.2009. He was then transferred to the Office of the Accountant General (Audit), Meghalaya, Shillong and joined as Deputy Accountant General (AMG-II) on 05.08.2019. He is currently holding the charges of Deputy Accountant General (AMG-II & Administration)
