Shri Dattaprasad Shirsat (Director)
Shri Dattaprasad Shirsat is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service Officer of 2009 batch. He has completed integrated five years law course (B.S.L, LL.B.) from Symbiosis Law College, Pune.
After completion of 2 years training at National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Shimla, he has held multifarious responsibilities involving audit, administration, accounts, entitlements and training in various field offices of Indian Audit & Account Department as follows:
- Deputy Accountant General (Pensions), O/o Principal Accountant General (A&E), Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad (September 2011 - June 2013)
- Deputy Accountant General (SS/LB), O/o Principal Accountant General (Audit), Assam, Guwahati (July 2013 - October 2017)
- Sr. Deputy Accountant General, O/o Accountant General, Goa (October 2017 - August 2019)
- Director (Admin/Training), International Centre for Information Systems and Audit, NOIDA (August 2019 to May 2022)
- Director (AMG II/ Admin) at the Office of Director General of Audit (Health, Welfare & Rural Development), New Delhi (May 2022 to August 2022)
Foreign Assignments
Shri Dattaprasad Shirsat has participated in 7th Indo-China Young Auditors Forum held at Chongqing and Beijing, China during 10 May 2016 to 20 May 2016.
He has conducted UN audit assignments as detailed below:
- Compliance Audit of Capital Master Plan of United Nations at New York, USA (March - April 2018
- IT Audit of Umoja ERP system of United Nations at New York, USA (January - February 2019)
- Compliance Audit of Umoja ERP system of United Nations at New York, USA (January - February 2020)
Presently, he is working as Director (AMG II & V) auditing various offices under Union ministries of Home Affairs, Culture, Rural Development, Women and child development etc.
